With their little muffs and beards, Ameraucana are absolutely adorable, and lay beautiful blue eggs! Our Ameraucana varieties are Blue / Black / Splash, Ermine, Isabel, Self-Blue (Lavender), Silver, Wheaten / Blue Wheaten, and White.
We will be discontinuing our Ancona in Spring 2024. Please email if you are interested in hatching eggs or to purchase our breeding stock.
Ancona are lively birds that are full of curiosity and excitement. They are beautiful with their mottled feathers and lay a fair amount of large white eggs. They tolerate confinement, and do very well in free range environment.
We will be discontinuing our Ayam Cemani in Spring 2024. Please email if you are interested in hatching eggs or to purchase our breeding stock.
Ayam Cemani are an exotic breed of chicken, known for their solid black feathers, skin, meat, and bones. In some culture the black meat chicken was a dish only afforded by royalty. They lay small to medium size lightly tinted eggs. They are a more challenging breed to hatch and raise, as they have a lower fertility rate than most, and a high cull rate for flaws.
The Bielefelder are the perfect breed for those who live in an area with rooster ordinances. They are auto-sexing at hatch, so you know immediately the males from females. They are a large dual-purpose bird, that lay beautiful large golden brown eggs.
What can be more amazing than an auto-sexing breed that lays beautiful blue eggs and has the cutest little crest that makes them look like they just woke up all day long?
We will be discontinuing our Double Silver Laced Barnevelders in Spring of 2024. Please email if you are interested in hatching eggs or to purchase our breeding stock.
The first word that comes to my mind when I think about our Double Silver Laced Barnevelders is "Mesmerizing." They wrote the book on gorgeous! They are good layers of large light-medium brown eggs.
There is nothing more majestic than a flock of Marans in a field of green grass. Proud and elegant, and they lay the darkest of brown eggs guaranteed to make your egg basket get noticed! Our Marans varieties are Black / Blue Copper, Silver Black / Blue (Birchen), Wheaten / Blue Wheaten, and White.
Our Olive Eggers are the perfect compliment to any egg basket. With 8 different flock combinations our birds are absolutely stunning as well. We use both Ameraucana and Cream Legbar with our Marans and Welsummers to create beautiful birds with gorgeous olive colored eggs.
You would be hard pressed to find a bird with a more beautiful feather pattern than the Speckled Sussex. They are very personable, easy keepers, and lay light brown eggs.
Do you love speckled eggs? Welsummers are known for their beautiful speckled brown eggs. Not as dark as Marans, but they will definitely make your egg basket gorgeous!
Just as adorable as their Large Fowl counterparts, our Ameraucana Bantams have it all! Looks, personality, charm and the prettiest little blue eggs, all combined in much smaller package. Our Ameraucana Bantam varieties are Blue / Black / Splash, Ermine, Isabel, Self-Blue (Lavender), Silver, Wheaten / Blue Wheaten, & White.
Huggable and loveable, our Cochin Bantams are amazing! We have three feather types. Frizzle, Silken, and Smooth. We have Frizzles in Blue / Black / Splash, Buff, and White. They hatch approximately 50% frizzle feathered and 50% smooth feathered. Our silken feathered Cochin Bantam varities are Blue / Black / Splash, Buff, and White. Our smooth feathered varieties are Birchen, Chocolates, Mottled, and Self-Blue (Lavender.)
We will be discontinuing our Seramas in Spring 2024. Please email if you are interested in purchasing any of our breeding stock.
Seramas are the smallest chicken with probably the biggest personality compared to their size. Easily handled and the table top shows are super fun and exciting. Serama prefer to be in warmer environments but don't require as much space as most breeds. They can easily be kept in a house or anywhere out of the cold of winter. Young Serama are very fragile, so a good breeder would not offer live birds until they are at least 4-6 months old.
Silkies are a unique bird all to their own. They have unique feathers, along with black skin, meat, and bones, and five toes! Silkie feathers come in their normal barbless feathers, and also Satin (normal barbed). Frizzle silkies can be either feather type. They lay small-Medium lightly tinted eggs and often go broody. They usually make great mothers, and will nest on just about any egg. Our Silkie varieties are Blue / Black / Splash, Buff, Paint, White, and Chocolates.
Half cute, half ugly, all rolled into one snuggly little package! Naked Neck silkies with the bowtie of feathers are called "Showgirls" even if they are boys, and the ones without the bowtie are called "Strippers." They are lively and fun to watch. Most of our Naked necks hatch as Showgirls, but there is a chance of Strippers or normal Silkies. Silkies hatched without the Naked Neck gene do not carry the gene, and will not pass the trait to their offspring. Our Naked Neck Silkie varieties are Blue / Black / Splash, Paint, White, and Chocolates.
